Management Team

A/I/DATA’s managers bring a wide variety of experience to their roles. They have learned on the job as well as through structured training. The combination of experience and training has resulted in a seasoned team of practitioners who have merged into a unified force. Our management philosophy is simple: understand the client’s needs and deliver what is promised on time and within budget. Staff members are engaged with that philosophy and practice to ensure the entire effort of the firm is aligned and focused. The result is satisfied customers who repeatedly request the services of A/I/DATA.

Michael T. Maguire, M.A., L.S. – President; responsible for the overall management of the firm. He has nearly five decades of experience in surveying, engineering and subsurface utility engineering. He provides professional oversight on projects and special attention to land surveying matters.

John P. Berrettini – Vice president; responsible for the technical performance of the field and office staff based on his more than 25 years of diverse experience in all aspects of underground utility investigation and mapping. He is adept at creating custom approaches to unique and difficult utility detection scenarios.

Carrie C. Nicholson, M.Eng., MBA, P.E. – Vice president; responsible for business development, staff development, and company strategy based on her planning-phase, design, and construction experience with varied infrastructure projects. She is also involved in engineering professional societies’ leadership and STEM and infrastructure-related volunteering.

Staff Qualifications

  • Our staff is licensed in Professional Engineering and Survey disciplines.
  • Field and office personnel are cross trained in technical skills. This drives greater field efficiency and product quality.
  • We incorporate technological improvements in processes and methods in order to bring the greatest value possible to our customers.
  • Our technical staff averages 10+ years of SUE specific experience and additional experience in related fields.
  • We invest in staff development with training in various areas including:
