Company Overview

A/I/DATA is a professional services firm and small business that provides subsurface utility engineering, surveying and mapping (SUE) services to planners, engineers, surveyors and construction industry professionals. Services include utility infrastructure records research, investigation, field marking and documentation, surveys, mapping and reporting of the location of all types of subsurface utility systems.

Underground utility locations provided by A/I/DATA are used to organize and plan the development and redevelopment of infrastructure, transportation, and all types of building projects. Our clients use the documented results supplied by A/I/DATA to improve the reliability and constructability of their projects, reduce the risk of utility damage, and avoid project delays.

In addition to utility location services based on the surface geophysical properties of underground utilities, A/I/DATA exposes and documents subsurface features using air/ vacuum excavation methods. This minimally invasive procedure for test hole excavation greatly reduces the likelihood of accidental damage to existing utility systems and other underground features when compared to conventional excavation methods. All test hole results are documented on individual test hole data sheets that are used to record the pertinent design data gathered from the test hole activity.
